I started running when I was 6 years old. My grade school had an annual fun run, and I progressed from the 1-mile, to the 5k, to the 10k. I continued to run throughout junior high and high school, both in cross-country and in track. My best event was the 2-mile, and I was fortunate enough to be on a high school team that went to State.

In 2010, after having my 2 children (both runners!), I took up endurance athletics. Since then, I have completed 25 stand alone marathons, 3 Ironman triathlons, a 50k, and a 50-miler. My favorite accomplishments were my 1st Ironman in Lake Placid, and my first Boston Marathon in 2018.

I always tell myself that I do not Have to run, I Get to run. I am honored and excited to be an assistant coach for the Plainfield Pitbulls. I am enthusiastic and bring a lot of positive energy. I look forward to instilling the love of running in the next generation of runners.
